Sun. Jan. 15-Caterwaul DJs Other Voices, Other Sounds from 9-11pm, on KUNM 89.9 FM. Take a break to check out some experimental, avant garde, sound art & modern composers. We'll be hearing work from NM artists Philip Mantione, The Just Reward, Vadi Grontis & Helen Gruhlkey, among others. Also this evening, Alchemical Burn will be doing a live set in the studio!

"Queer discourse//circus cabaret//dance party" feat. local faves Vespur Von Lickspoon, Tylee, Godiva Bleu (Dirty Laundry Burlesque) and Molly and Matie of Self Serve (see below), and newly arrived Cupcake from Idaho’s Basement Burlesque, circus magic from Cuba, NM, plus Quinn from Michigan!

Then DANCE! w/ DJ Werkhard (hiphop & old skool) & DJ Electroben (rare electro vinyl)

@ The Kosmos (1715 5th St. NW, just south of I-40) 8pm-1am, all ages, $7/$10 sliding scale

This local feminist sex toy store and resource center has been on the frontlines for 5 years now. They’ve received harassment from the city for organizing the annual Pornotopia events, among other things, and they’re still here! Let’s make sure it stays that way.

Distortion by Design is a project of Vadi Grontis and Helen Gruhlkey inspired by a reality abandoned for a subterranean world. They will present a multimedia installation and performance in exploration of this experience.
